What are Freshman Seminars?

Does a small, challenging class full of energy, creativity, substance, and adventures in learning seem like it would be worth one hour of your week? If you are, enroll in a freshman seminar course.

Freshman Seminars are offered every fall to entering freshman, and since you’re a first-semester freshman only once, take advantage of these unique courses while you can. You will have the rare opportunity to participate in a small-class where you will get to know a professor personally, challenge your mind with ideas not necessarily within your discipline, learn the keys to maximum performance in college and beyond, enlighten your creativity, and be educated for eternity.

The courses offer you a variety of topics to choose from, so take the one that is most interesting to you. But don’t wait too long to enroll—the classes are small and they fill up fast.
