It's a big place, but after walking around it a lot with new friends, you realize how great and wonderful it is and how much you want to enjoy every moment you have on the campus. My favorite part of NSO was the dance. It's a huge part with hundreds of cool people that you have just met. Everyone is really on equal footing, we're all on equal footing, and we all want to make new friends and have a great time. It's a perfect formula for fun. NSO helped me realize how incredible BYU is and what an awesome opportunity I have in attending this great University. I'm really excited for the next few years."

 

 

"NSO was extremely helpful. My advice to any incoming freshman is to attend NSO and get involved in Y-groups. The people I met in my Y-group have become my best friends this semester. NSO is an important opportunity to meet other incoming freshman, and make the adjustment from high school to college. It was a great and very helpful experience."
