Many of the challenging and common first-year classes hold open labs. In these labs, upperclassmen who are majoring in that subject, act as tutors and help students answer their questions.
This is a great way to help you prepare for your exams, and get a quality proofread on your essays. Don’t hesitate to visit your labs!

In Utah there are five national parks, seven national monuments, 43 state parks, 14 ski resorts, and plenty of places to do any type of outdoor activity imaginable. Whether it be camping, snow sports, or anything else you can think of, Utah’s got it all. Take a weekend and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds campus with the help of Outdoors Unlimited here on campus.

1. Hub Days. September 23 from 10 AM to 3 PM. Come to the Hub for cookies, a photo contest, prizes, games, mentor info, & more.

2. Lecture by Terryl Givens. Be sure and attend Terryl Givens' lecture Monday, September 23 at 4 PM. This Maxwell Institute Fellow will be speaking on "The Doors of Faith" in the Varsity Theatre.



3. Work the BYU Football Games. Concessions is looking for more workers this Saturday! Get FREE food and extra income by working the remaining four home football games- 9/21, 10/19, 11/9, 11/16. Email ted_long@byu.edu for more info. 

4. Watch BYU Speeches' video: Forum Fifteen. Kao Kalia Yang's September 24th forum address is being called "the chance of a lifetime". Check out this video on the upcoming forum address.

5. London Study Abroad. Experience Design and Humanities have teamed up for a truly epic study abroad in London Winter 2020. Apply by October 1.
