Ecclesiastical Endorsement
Due March 15th, 2020

+ ALL students are required to receive an Ecclesiastical Endorsement from their local Ecclesiastical Leader or the BYU Chaplain

+ Visit prd.endorse.byu.edu to commit to live the Honor Code

+ Meet with your local Ecclesiastical Leader to complete your endorsement

+ Latter-day Saint students may be endorsed only by the bishop of the ward (1) in which they live and (2) that holds their current Church membership record

+ Non-Latter-day Saint students are to be endorsed by (1) the local ecclesiastical leader if the student is an active member of the congregation, (2) the Latter-day Saint bishop of the ward in which they currently reside, or (3) the nondenominational BYU chaplain.

What is BYU Connect?
BYU Connect is a program that allows students to network with an alumni mentor. The program has over 1,500 BYU alumni who are willing to share knowledge with students pursuing similar fields of interest.

How to Get Involved 
To find a mentor, simply register to provide basic background information, and then search the alumni database to identify professionals in your field of interest. Once you find your professional, you can contact the alumni to coordinate a time to connect in one of four ways: a lunch meeting, phone call, Skype/FaceTime call, or job shadowing.

1. Attend the forum with Jazz Pianist Marcus Roberts and Greg Clark, an English Professor, on February 25th in the Marriott Center
2. Attend Show Me the Money, a FREE financial planning seminar, on February 29, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Hinckley Center taught by finance experts and professors. Refreshments will be provided at the event. Register here!

3. Attend QPR Training Sessions QPR is a nationally recognized suicide prevention program aimed at helping you know what to do and say when someone close to you is considering suicide. You'll learn what signs to look for, how to approach someone who’s struggling, and where to go for help.
