Credits
How many credits do I have to take to have an on-campus job?

US Citizen/Resident Students
Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least 6.0 day-continuing credit hours during Fall and Winter semesters.
Graduate students must carry at least 2.0 day-continuing credit hours during Fall and Winter semesters.

International Students
Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least 12.0 day-continuing credit hours during Fall and Winter semesters.
Graduate students must carry at least 9.0 day-continuing credit hours during Fall and Winter semesters.

Hours
How many hours can I work as a BYU student employee?

US Citizen/Resident Students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week during Fall and Winter Semesters. 
Undergraduate students may work up to 40 hours per week during Spring and Summer terms, depending on department need.

International Students
Are allowed to work over 20 hours per week ONLY during their annual vacation period (to be determined by the International Services Office) and during school holidays and breaks.
