Hey Cougars,

Good work this semester! Finals are just around the corner. This week we have some finals tips as well as important information about the FAFSA, a federal application for students to receive financial aid.
Finals Tips
Finishing up Classes

Check Learning Suite
Make sure all assignments are accounted for. Ask about missing grades and make sure you have a plan for completing the rest!

Meet With Your TA/Professor
It’s never too late to ask questions! Reach out to your TA/Professor via email or virtual office hours.

Start
Just do it! Start those final projects and papers now!

Make a Plan
Make a plan for when you will study and when you will take your exams. Start a study group via Zoom and plan to attend review sessions held by your professors or TAs.

What If Calculator
Use the ‘What if Calculator’ on Learning Suite to calculate your potential final grade (Grades > What If Calculator).

Grading Policy
This semester only, students have the choice of requesting to change their letter grade to a P or W. Look at this link for important information on what this means and how it impacts financial aid.
FAFSA
Free Money for School

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a form that can be prepared annually by current and prospective college students in the United States to determine their eligibility for student financial aid.

If you haven’t already submitted your FAFSA, do it now! You never know how much you might qualify for, plus it’s a free application.
