  • Student Health Center: Available to all BYU students, come in for a doctor's appointment, immunizations, physical therapy, urgent care, prescriptions, and any other medical needs. All services are available to you regardless of your insurance coverage. The center is located about a 15 minutes' walk north of campus, with hours from 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
  • Fitness Classes: Buy a wristband and participate in fitness classes all semester! Classes include yoga, kickboxing, zumba, cycling, step, and cardio for any fitness level.
  • Exercise Facilities: The southeast corner of campus is home to our BYU athletic facilities. Look at this website to find the open hours for the pool, weight room, track, tennis courts, and more.
  • Intramural Sports: Want to play on a team? Each season offers a different intramural sport and the chance to be the next Intramural Champion.

Student Health Plan

BYU students enrolled 3/4 time or more (9+ credits) are required to have health insurance year round. Each student is automatically enrolled in BYU's Student Health Plan one week prior to the start of classes if private insurance has not been reported. This charge will appear on your student account. You may waive the BYU Student Health Plan if you are already covered by a different health insurance plan.

The deadline to waive the BYU Student Health Plan is the semester add/drop deadline.
