The Office of First Year Experience has launched a Virtual Hub experience for peer mentors and first-year students to meet online. In the past, peer mentors and students have met in The Hub on the main floor of the library. Because of limited space with social-distancing standards, we recognize that for most freshmen and their peer mentors, meeting virtually is an ideal way to meet.
HOW IT WORKS:
Click the button above to enter the Virtual Hub. The Virtual Hub is open on regular school days from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. MST. This will be where you go for all virtual meetings with your mentor. You can also enter the Virtual Hub if you have questions or concerns and want to pop in to ask one of our peer mentors.
When you click the button, you will be directed to a Zoom Meeting where a First-Year Mentoring Coordinator will greet you. Once both you and your peer mentor are present in the Zoom meeting, you will both be placed in a breakout room.
Thank you for your patience as both peer mentors and students work together to learn how to use this new Virtual Hub. If you have any questions, please contact your First-Year Peer Mentor.
