Whether this is your first time being a BYU parent or your eighth, we are excited to welcome you and your new student to campus!
During New Student Orientation (NSO), your student will have many opportunities to get connected with campus resources to help them be successful in their academic and career goals. On the first day of Summer and Fall NSO, we also offer a Parent Orientation designed specifically for you. This season marks an important transition for your family, and we are here to support you.

As you prepare to send your student to BYU, we’ve gathered helpful information to guide you now and throughout their first year. This page includes many of the resources shared during Parent Orientation. We invite you to explore the sections most relevant to you and your student.
Be sure to remind your student to complete their ONLINE ORIENTATION MODULES before arriving on campus so they have a strong foundation for their experience.
